As the founder and president of Bluebird Strategy, Heather is involved in all aspects of the business. Heather believes that the key to Bluebird’s success lies in establishing healthy and mutually beneficial relationships with its partners. To this end Heather is always happy to lend her considerable expertise on sponsorship strategy and brand and event development.
Heather has worked in sales, marketing and events in both Vancouver and Whistler for over fifteen years, and has specialized in sponsorship sales, service, strategy and brand building for both brands and events. She has worked on a number of large scale Festivals including Crankworx Freeride Mountain Bike Festival, Whistler Film Festival, and the Vancouver Eco Fashion Week. She has also worked on the client side in sales and sponsorship for Molson Coors Canada and Constellation Brands, executing events for brands such as Molson Canadian, Heineken, Kim Crawford and Ravenswood Wine.
In 2014, Bluebird Strategy was nominated for Premiere’s People’s Choice Award as part of Small Business BC Awards and in 2015, Heather was a finalist for Rising Star of the Year Award from the Whistler Chamber of Commerce.
In 2015, Heather founded the WNORTH Conference, the first of its kind, destination conference for women in business who are on a leadership track. The conference brings together a global community of women who are the next generation of senior leaders.
